I’ll let today’s ‘toon speak for itself, but I look forward to your thoughts.
In other news, I’ve spent 36 years on this planet as of today, and this is also the first birthday I’ll be spending as a dad with my baby daughter. Of all the experiences I’ve had in my 36 years, I’ve gotta say being a Dad far overshadows it all. I love you, Sonia.

I empathize with Bob. You’d think with tech skills like his in demand, finding a new job will be easy. My profession is much the same way.
But that doesn’t take away the fear factor when you lose a job, especially if you know you deserved it. How do you convince someone else to hire you when your erstwhile employer has just told you that you aren’t worth keeping around? Humans are social creatures: we take rejection, even if deserved, very hard.
Lots of grist for this comic mill, in other words. Should be fun! :D
