Over the weekend, I purchased and installed two accessories which greatly improved my overall desk setup.
First up is the Suptek Clamp-on Speaker Stand Desk Mount, a set of adjustable speaker stands that clamp securely to the sides of my desk. The Suptek stands are well designed and easy to assemble. I can easily raise or lower my speakers while also adjusting their tilt.
The Suptek speaker stands are a game-changer: I can finally position my speakers directly at ear level.
Next up is the Adjustable Under Desk Monziteck Mount. I purchased the Monzitech to securely hold my OWC ThunderBay 4 drive array directly underneath my wood desk.
The mount comes out of the box in two separate pieces, each of which can be independently adjusted for height. The Monzitek is secured underneath my desk using six wood screws – three for each side.
Once installed, the ThunderBay sits securely under my desk, out of the way.
Both products cost about $30US and are surprisingly well built for the price. Between moving my speakers off the desktop and relocating the ThunderBay underneath it, I’ve reclaimed a nice chunk of desk space.
They look great too!
