AirDrop is great… when it works.
Sometimes AirDrop will find the other devices on my local network. But every now and then, it won’t. To put an end to the question of “Will AirDrop work this time or not?” I’ve switched to LocalSend.
LocalSend is open source and cross-platform. With it, I can quickly share and receive files between my Apple and Linux devices. And it’s always worked.
I wish I could say the same about AirDrop.
