The Two Pizza Rule

Hot off the grill!

The “Two Pizza” Rule has often been attributed to Jeff Bezos. That sounds fine and dandy for keeping teams small, but does that imply that pizza will be served at every meeting? And if so, what size are the pizzas? It’s all relative, I suppose.

Who’s with me in favor of a “Two Beer” Rule?

I think assuming that pizza will be served at every meeting would be jumping to a disappointing conclusion… Unless, of course, it’s a team of middle or senior managers, then they’re entitled to everything at company expense…

You can feed quite a crowd with 1 sheet pizza, let alone 2.

Being employed by Mr. Bezos, if have never heard of this. Not in a work setting anyway. And my team takes at least 4 pizza’s one for me and a coworker the rest for the other 7 people

What’s this about 2 beers per workgroup? I hope we are speaking of 2 _casks_ of beer, or 144 (UK) pints. Sounds about right for a workgroup of 3.

Tell me what you think!
