I sympathize with Bob. I’ve had similar conversations re Mac vs PC with the other faculty at work. Can’t seem to win them over, yet they continue to admire my PowerBook.
Very, very funny. Everyone of us at one time or another has hoped a salesperson would really tell us the truth and really help. The trouble is that today we would think they had an ulterior motive and be very leery.
Great comic. So true. I avoid Bogus Buy like the plague. Kindergarteners know more about the equipment they sell. Plus you can always find a kindergartener whether you need them or not.
Praise Ubuntu – praise the masses for not “getting it”. Maybe Linux and OS X will remain “attack free” if they don’t get too popular. Yes – we are pilgrims in an unholy land! Great ‘toon!
I say my prayers to St. Mark Shuttleworth daily… only one of my computers is still running Windoze, and that’s because OOo has a major bug in conversion to RTF, which is necessary to my job (DAMN YOU, M$ Wierd for getting it right) that OOo is not in the least interested in fixing. Yeah, I stay away from Breast Buy too…
