    I have a client that is an attorney, every time we install a new product he wants to take a day to review the EULA before we do the install. He’s never been swayed not to do the install based off any information in the EULA but he still reads it each and every time.

    I once read the iTunes AppStore EULA, in section g, it states not to make a weapon with iTunes. http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/appstore/dev/stdeula/

    It’s always a good idea to at least skim through them if not read the whole thing. There is some debate as to how enforceable they really are though. It’s nice to know where and how many computers you may run a particular software package on.

    Yeah, try to. This isn’t a joke, its the truth! The legal jargon is imposable to understand. Yeah I’d just sign it too.

    Fun fact: License agreements originally arose in the Dark Ages when no one was sure if software was copyrightable or not. They just never went away after that…
