I’m Making a T-Shirt and I Need Your Input: Updated

Due to last year’s runaway sales success, I’m planning to offer a new batch of PC Weenies T-shirts, via TeeSpring, in the next few weeks. As I have mentioned on the blog before, my goal is to offer at least one new limited edition PCW themed T-shirt every summer.

Below is a design that I worked up for this year’s T-shirt. What I really need is your honest feedback. If this was the design for the next PC Weenies shirt, would you buy one?

Update:

Here’s the new design:

social_netborked2

and the original one:
social_netborked

shirt

Thanks for your input!

The design it self is great, but I kinda want to see bob in action like being himself on front of the computer frustrated. I just feel like Bob should be doing something to call my attention, and though I really like the colors, the subject is not pulling me in for the “intent of purchase”

Thanks, Zero! I agree with you. The more I think about it, I think Bob holding two or three phones in his hand, looking exasperated at them both – may be a more effective image.

    Hi,
I don’t understand the joke, but maybe you need to be american to do so.
second I would prefer Bob facing the other way
third I find bob’s teeth too visible, it is making him very agressive , this change in the way you draw the teeth is quite recent and I was planning to highlight it.

    cheers

      hi Conk:

      Thank you for your feedback!

I plan on tweaking the design a bit more… basically, the idea is that the social network scene is too overwhelming – so like it’s social network overload. I plan to re-draw the image to have Bob staring at multiple phones and going a little crazy trying to keep up.

Thanks, Darren. I don’t have pricing info as yet, because I have to see what the unit cost works out to first. Expect some news on pricing soon. Thanks!

Tell me what you think!
