On Monday’s Art & Story Alive! show, I shared my experiences at MiniMegacon (Show #80). Book sales were decent, but the traffic on the floor was somewhat anemic, at least compared to the main Megacon show (held this March). Still, we did well enough (making a small profit), and hopefully earned some new readers in the process.
The mug that you see in the photo above can be purchased at the Art and Story Podcast store on Zazzle.com. Profits go towards supporting Jerzy and Mark’s excellent Art & Story shows.
On the book front, now that things have settled down a little, I’m starting to work my way through mailing out pre-orders for “Rebootus Maximus”. I mailed out the first 7 numbered editions this afternoon.
My goal is to sketch and pack at least 10 books a day and have them mailed out every week until all pre-ordered copies have been sent out. Want a book? Why not order your very own copy?
The standard edition is only $20 + shipping. The Artist Edition includes a sketch in your book for only $10 more + shipping. And to sweeten the pot, I’m actually throwing in a few surprises (which can include original art from my sketchbooks!) for all orders placed between now and September 15th.

P.S. “Rebootus Maximus” will have a special book signing event at the Art Institute of Tampa on Saturday, September 12th, from 10:30AM to noon. If you’re in the Tampa, St. Petersburg, or Clearwater area, you can purchase a book and save on shipping!

August 25, 2009 at 9:48 pmI’m waiting by the mailbox for my copy right now. :) Take your time I know you have a lot on your plate. Just as an FYI out there while Zazzle is good, check out discountphotogifts.com. They are great quality, fast service (usually have my orders in les that 5 business days), and low prices. The only down side is you can’t build a “store” with them. I’m really happy your first con went so well. I’ll get there someday…maybe. ;)
