One more strip left until I put the comic to rest for a month to focus on PC Weenies Book 2. I hope to have a few guest-strips to run next week. Stay ‘tooned.
Only a month behind schedule? That’s it. No need for tension…
At one job I was in a meeting when the boss promised a new version of our software that solved their showstopper issues within a few months time.
When I quit the company eight years later, we still weren’t close to releasing it.
And we had most of the company’s senior developers working on it full time the whole time (not me, I spent a few months here and there on urgent fixes for our older software, ones no one else could do), plus as many as 50 developers from a consulting company working on it.
They finally released a beta version of one small module about three years after that and stopped working on the rest of it.
