Word on the street is that Palm is desperately looking for a buyer. How desperate? CEO Jon Rubenstein’s portrayal in this comic may be closer to reality than you think. What’s the fate of Palm? Sound off with your opinions below!
My first idea when reading this on Twitter was palm facing, abbreviated as “palming”. Palm, wasn’t that the company that made the Treo? Didn’t know they were still around.
This is sad really. I thought that Palm did a remarkable job on the Palm Pre (and by addition, the Palm Pre Plus). I think that the network exclusivity that they had with Sprint hurt them in the overall scheme of things. If you’re kinda floundering looking for your footing again, don’t lock your last hope with just one cell phone provider. Hopefully WebOS will continue to live on though.
