I’ve been waiting to share this reveal. Initially, when I planned to bring Pam’s dad into the strip, I wanted to make him tall, athletic and buff (sorta like the guy in the first panel)- but then the idea to make him a short but feisty firecracker won me over.
So… Pam’s dad. Whatcha think?

September 26, 2012 at 8:06 amNo idea where this storyline is going and while the storyline filler strips were probably not needed(buying time to work in this one I suspect, but that’s just me), love the reveal. Did not see that coming.
Keep it up! :D

September 26, 2012 at 9:21 amLet me clarify, Conk :)
The clone Bob has no working knowledge or memory of Pam – he’s just a worker bee at Footle with the technical knowledge of the real Bob. Pam of course recognizes her Dad – she spotted him right away.

September 26, 2012 at 9:28 pmI loved it…..I had the same reaction as clone Bob did then I got a really good laugh at the last panel.

September 27, 2012 at 1:27 amI must be a bit obtuse… I saw the last panel, and thought “Daddy brought his CO along?”
Then I settled down to wait for the next strip to clear my question up (it always does).
Love the development, thought.

September 27, 2012 at 11:08 amsorry but i still don’t make i.. what’s the surprise then in the previous strip? That does pam want to hide? (there might be a subtile meaning I don’t get for being from french…)

September 27, 2012 at 11:11 amIn the previous strip, there’s a subtle implication on Pam’s part that Bob and her dad never really got along – hence she was surprised that Bob wants to meet her dad. “Clone Bob” has no previous knowledge of meeting Pam’s dad.
