It’s been quite a while since I last featured a PC Weenies Guest-Star, so imagine my pleasant surprise when I received a commission from Kurt Sasso, the man behind the TGT podcast, an engaging and entertaining podcast where Kurt interviews various luminaries of the webcomic scene.
Kurt generously supplied me with some tech fodder to focus on for his guest-star comic. He writes:
I decided to go back to school in the Visual Arts, Communication, Media & Film degree and my computer was really sluggish. (about five years old, dual core system, 3GB ram, Windows 7 32Bit and with the video editing and podcasting)
With the help of my friends (or in this case Bob) my system was upgraded. *(Windows 7 64bit, 16GB DDR3, 128 SSD, 3TB Backup drives, 8-core AMD with military grade MB.)
He wanted me to poke fun of how such a powerful system would be used for such mundane tasks, as shown in the strip above. I happily obliged. This one’s for you, Kurt!
And if YOU are interested in appearing within a PC Weenies comic (because, you know, it would be COOL), you can always sign up!
