Four Disparate Consonants about Math, Romance and Physics

I’m going to make the assumption that nearly everyone who reads this comic probably reads XKCD, a webcomic by Randall Monroe. It’s a heady assumption, I know, but work with me here.

Nothing makes sense without context, so if some kind soul could link the referenced XKCD comics within today’s PCW comic, in the comment field below, I’d be much obliged.

xkcd is an assault on everything I value – good art, good humour and talent/hard work.

It depresses me that something as crappy as xkcd has become so popular.

I just started reading XKCD a couple of days ago. I really do like it mostly because it is an assault on a lot of different aspects.

However, Krishna from what I’ve read of the comic you referenced about three different ones. I’m not sure which one you were trying to talk about.

hi JR – those would be the comics that discuss the Poisson Distribution, the QH effect and the Drake Equation – those are all comics within the XKCD archives…

For those going through the xkcd archives for the first time, make sure you hover over all the comics, each one has a great tooltip explaining something about it.

Come on Hari, your comment is a little harsh don’t you think? XKCD isn’t about the art as much as it is the writing. It is good, and sharp.

Kreg, I found most of the jokes insipid and lame myself. I mean, if it’s not about the art, then the writing better be damn good and funny!

I am a fan of “geeky” humour myself and I admire KMS’s shart wit and humour, but

Stick figures + Obscure references and lame dialogues = not funny…

This single strip by KMS about XKCD is 1000 times better than all the xkcd comics put together. :)

Your silly little opinion which was presented as if it were fact…
…has been duly noted, and duly ignored.

    also, xkcd isn’t capialized.

Tell me what you think!
