How much does Bob get paid? How much does he cost Footle an hour? Do Trevor and the other management bozos think about that when they come up with these 31 page surveys? Surely they don’t expect employees to do them on their own time.

I’ve worked for a large multinational company, and the cost of these surveys are calculated into the budget usually. Believe me, nothing good comes out of these. The questions are usually all wrong and so are the allowed answers.
We also had to take a yearly ‘anti-corruption’ training. Seriously. As Bob has put it, we were sitting in front of the screen all day and wrote software. Who the heck would try to bribe us, and for what?

Still, in some ways this was better than my current employer, where the solution for lack of enthusiasm and talented people leaving the company like it was the Titanic was to cut some privileges and stop having the yearly employee satisfaction survey (this way the owners will not know that there are problems).

Tell me what you think!
