Arcade Fire

Maybe it’s a joke. If it is, it’s a good one. Or maybe it’s a real job listing. The Internets will debate it, I’m sure.

But, by several accounts, it seems to be legit. And if so, it borders on modern day indentured servitude. I won’t go into details, because Christopher Buecheler did a great job of analyzing the aforementioned LinkedIn post.

I don’t hate Penny Arcade, but I have to wonder at folks who would even consider applying for the position as listed.

As I said on Twitter…if you had all these skills, why on earth would you work for a webcomic?

      Exactly.

Why does a webcomic need this sort of staffer?

What struck me by that posting is the unbelievable arrogance of a brand that thinks people would rush to work for them under such terms of employment.

Tell me what you think!
