Continuing where I left off a few weeks ago… Bob’s first day at Footle. It’s the first time I’ve had Bob share his thoughts in caption boxes. I did this because I wanted this strip to serve as a “refresher” for old readers and a jumping on point for new readers. I plan on oscillating between the storyline and some stand alone strips – maybe alternate ’em to where I have 3 storyline strips one week, followed by 3 stand-alone strips the next.
Of course, in the NEXT PC Weenies book, I’ll have everything placed in order to make for easier reading. ;)
And speaking of today’s comic, I’ve drawn from my own experience working in a nuclear plant. I had to wear the bunny suit and go into a radioactive zone – and I remember it being fairly warm to the point where I wanted to scratch my nose, but I was afraid of “zoomies” aka contamination. (I did it anyway.)
If you’re new to the storyline (or strip), you may be scratching your head at this point.
What is Footle, you ask? How did Bob find himself in such an interesting predicament? Great questions – the answers for which can be found within the archives (and book)!

January 12, 2010 at 5:44 amYou worked at a Nuclear plant? Is that where you got your Superhuman comic drawing powers?
Krishna
January 12, 2010 at 7:58 amlol, I don’t know about that, Adam. But yeah, when I was 19, I was working at a plant. I’m glad I did – it was one of those defining moments where I knew exactly what I *didn’t* want to do for a living.
