No matter how neat I try to keep my studio space, the one area that has always been a thorn in my side is the unsightly look of wires against my walls. This is what my studio space looked like before some heavy-duty cable management.
Not very pretty. And then I found a set of Velcro brand reusable ties (below), for about $6.00 on Amazon. (Amazon inexplicably lists the item for almost $9 now.)
I figured I had nothing to lose. These Velcro brand reusable strips are adjustable and do a really nice job of minimizing cable clutter. Here’s a few photos of my studio after cable management:
It’s not looking 100% better, but it is several orders of magnitude neater than it was before. This solution works much better than the Ultra Cable Management system I reviewed before – in part because it’s very easy to remove the velcro tabs when needed.
All that’s left for me to do now is to consolidate all my wires, power strips and cables that are on the floor into a BlueLounge CableBox Cable Management system. Expect a review on that product in the next few weeks.
