I upgraded to an iPhone5 from an iPhone4 this morning, taking advantage of the latest Best Buy promotion. Here are the things you should know if you are considering the upgrade:
The upgrade process was painless for me. You’ll want to make sure you back up your phone via iTunes first before you go to Best Buy. The entire process took me about half an hour from start to finish – it’s not an in-and-out procedure.
As a security precaution, it’s best to delete all your phone contents before you turn your phone in. Just ask and the Best Buy rep will walk you through the process.
I’ve only had a few minutes to play with the iPhone5, but it’s night and day faster than the iPhone4. For me, the upgrade was totally worth it.

June 22, 2013 at 12:29 pmWill you have a problem with the change in connectors with the 5? One of the main reasons I don’t want to upgrade is it will make all my docks and peripherals that use the old cable useless. Such as the speaker/radio dock I use to charge my iPhone and iPad (it has two docks).
