No Compromise

Microsoft’s new Surface Pro tablet ships next week, but there’s a little brou-ha-ha stirring on the total available storage for both models. Especially interesting, as Microsoft touts their latest design efforts as no compromise. Sorry, MS – but no compromise just points to bad design.

Thoughts?

Its a full bore no holds barred PC in a tablet. It can run ALL windows apps, just like a desktop. You think this is going to be light on HD useage?

Probably does need 256 gigs, to be realistic. But judging it like an iPad is not fair either. Perforance wise, it is something in the order of a 10:1 ratio, in favor of the Surface. (No I wouldn’t own one, I want a real keyboard with my portable computing, thank you very much)

Not wanting to be That Guy, but Bob’s fallen into the old double negative trap in panel three- he should be asking ‘how can you claim these tablets ARE no compromise’.
I know, splitting hairs and Bob has few to spare :)

Tell me what you think!
