Today I wanted to share a really cool email I received from Angela (an avid PC Weenies reader) who purchased PC Weenies Book 1 (a.k.a. Rebootus Maximus) as a gift for her husband.
Hi Krishna,
Eric totally LOVES the book. I knew he would :)
And he couldn’t get over the personalization.I was working from home yesterday, and he has this week off. So, he was lying on the couch bursting out with laughs here and there while reading the book, and I was really trying to focus on my work. It was quite difficult to get anything done b/c I kept asking which strip he was reading, to laugh along with him.
Angela’s email really put a smile on my face. Thank you, Angela!
Online cartoonists are often starved of any type of feedback on our work whatsoever. We toil for hours on end and put our soul into our work – and often we are met with pin drop silence. Reading a comment on the blog, receiving an email, or even getting a quick tweet from a reader about my work is something that keeps me going.
It’s the best way to support an online cartoonist without spending a cent. (Of course, monetary support in the form of buying merch and the like are also great ways to show your support.)
Speaking of merch, I’m selling eBook (PDF) versions of PC Weenies Book 1 for only $5. You can order yours by hitting the button below. If you picked up a new tablet this holiday season, 5 bucks will get you 120 pages of comics in an easy to read format. Buy one for yourself or a friend.
Tune in on Friday for the conclusion to the Clone Bob Saga!
