Our AC died (again) and we are left engulfed in 90+ degree heat in our house. We live in Florida, and the extra heat inside does not make for a pleasant atmosphere for creating new comics.
An AC repairman is supposed to be on his way. The toon will be late. I hope you understand.
Thanks,
me.

September 22, 2011 at 6:11 amI’ve been struggling with high temperatures here in New York City all summer… I didn’t realize it when I moved in, but my apartment is right on top of the back end of a grocery store, where all their freezers and things are (a bakery, too?), all of which move heat from inside up…
Up into my apartment… With the windows open, fans on but A/C off, the temperatures in my apartment have been around 110 degrees… I can run two of the three window A/C’s at a time (all three will throw a circuit breaker…) and get the temperature down to around 90 degrees…
Most of the summer the floor was uncomfortably hot to walk on with bare feet… It felt like pavement in the hot, summer sunshine.
Fortunately my lease finishes up in March, so I will not be in this place next summer!
