Freelance Switch – the podcast, while primarily dedicated to freelancers of all types, provides tons of valuable information and advice on how to market yourself, set up your business, and manage your productivity. If you’re serious about making your webcomic more than your hobby, you need to think of it as a business. Check out the Freelance Switch site for even more useful info.
Webcomics Weekly – this excellent podcast features a discussion on a wide-variety of webcomic related topics by a roundtable of notable webcartoonists (Scott Kurtz, Kris Straub, Dave Kellet, and Brad “Wigwam” Guigar). Always informative and entertaining, this is one I look forward to listening to, each and every week.
Photoshop Killer Tips – if you’re making a webcomic, chances are you are using Photoshop to do it. Each weekday, Matt Kloskowski provides a new 1 – 2 minute tip to make you more proficient on this amazing application. I like to think of it as “Photoshop College”.
So there you go – three fantastic resources full of excellent information that will help you make the most of your go as a webcartoonist. Have another podcast recommendation you think would fit the bill for aspiring webcartoonists everywhere? Let me know in the comments below.

January 27, 2008 at 8:43 pmDUDE I so listen to and read Freelance switch religiously!!! (hope that’s spelled right) I’ve been listening/reading for about 4mo now and it’s very insightful. I can’t agree more with what you said about them.
I’ve also listened to the Photoshop one as well. Pretty good stuff. I’ll have to check out the webcomic weekly one though.
