Guest-Starring: Robert Crittenden

PCW regular reader, Theala Sildorian, purchased a PCW guest-star gift for her brother Robert. In crafting ideas for Robert’s comic, Theala wrote:

…”He’s a computer programer who specializes in web server software. He’s worked for a lot of big organizations: Nation’s Bank, Netscape, AOL, then AOL TIme Warner, and most recently Red Hat Linux.

Rob love puzzles and problems. He can spend hours looking at code, and it’s all just one big game to him. When he’s done, he goes upstairs and is Dad. Rob is quiet, with a dry wit–the kind that you don’t know you’ve been got until about 5 minutes after the fact. His kids adore him, and he is able to spend a lot of time with them…”

I tailored the comic to focus on Rob’s programming background. For some people (like me), debugging code can be particularly frustrating, especially when the errors are obvious to the person looking over your shoulder.

Hope you enjoy the ‘toon, and Thanks for your support Theala!

Happy Father’s Day!
