Goin' Traditional…

Outside of penciling, my artwork takes place in a mostly digital realm. As it happened, this morning I stopped by the local Pearl Art Store center before going to work. I was looking for a PITT pen. I wound up getting one, and a bunch of other stuff:

1) 3 Micron pens
2) two 8.5″ x 11″ bristol board art pads (don’t let the word Manga fool ya)
3) A TombowABT brush pen

I’m excited about creating my first purely traditional pen and ink piece in years. I’ll post my efforts on the blog and the PC Weenies forum, in case any of you are interested in seeing what I’ve developed.

Does this mean I’m switching back to analog for my comics? Nope. I’m just excited about trying something different…
