(I’m taking a brief pause from the Footle storyline this week. Don’t worry, we’ll find out what happens to Bob and Maurice next week. Stay ‘tooned.)
Today’s guest-star ‘toon features Victor Cajiao, host of the very popular Typical Mac User Podcast. Victor has been a long time supporter of the strip, with appearances going back for the last 5 years (he holds the record for being in more PCW comics than any other guest-star!).
Guest-Starring is a fun way to appear in a comic. It’s also a great way to surprise a friend on a special occasion. It’s also a fun way to support the comic. (Who knows? Maybe your guest-star comic will appear in the next PC Weenies book!)
My goal this year is to beat the 2008 record of 29 guest-stars. I know we can do it. Whaddayasay? :)
Oh, and if today’s reference to Geraldo Rivera doesn’t make sense, may I present Exhibit A and Exhibit B:

January 18, 2010 at 9:46 pmDoes Geraldo still exist these days? Does he have a show or has he been retired? It has been years since I’ve even heard anyone mention him.

January 19, 2010 at 8:11 amI think that special was the beginning of the end of Geraldo. Too bad. He was a decent reporter in his 20/20 days.

January 20, 2010 at 6:11 pmHa! Well, Apple tried flat-panel Macs once and failed with the 20th Anniversary Mac, but got it right the 2nd time with the iMac… and the G4 cube didn’t do so well, but it was succeeded by the Mac Mini… and they’ve done the Newton, so the iSlate (if such a thing exists) should be brilliant.
