My new Wacom Intuos4 arrived this evening. I found it sitting in its box all by its lonesome outside my door, like a lost puppy dog. I ordered the medium size from Amazon, which is comparable to my 6 x 8 Intuos3 tablet. In typical nerd fashion, there would be photos, but Aarti has my camera. (Doh!)
I have yet to put the Intuos4 through any paces (believe it or not, I haven’t even opened the box yet!)
It’s the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. My Intuos3 tablet, which has served me exceedingly well for so many years, has now found a new owner. Tomorrow, it will begin its journey to its new home, along with a specially crafted piece of hand inked artwork on Bristol paper.
I guess it’s time to open the box now…

I ordered mine yesterday. Can’t wait. I’m replacing an old Intuos 1, though. I hope I don’t have a heart attack from the culture shock. *grin*

April 23, 2009 at 1:36 pmI think you’ll enjoy using it, Eric. I’ve only played with my tablet for a few hours, but already I can feel a world of difference between the old one and the new one.
