After nearly two weeks, I have my trusty Wacom Cintiq 27QHD back home. I had sent it over to Wacom for warranty repair due to some screen clouding issues. Today, I’m happy to report that the Cintiq has a brand new display and it’s absolutely perfect. Despite the repair being covered under warranty, shipping the unit out to Wacom HQ set me back a total of $160. Thankfully, Wacom shipped the unit back via UPS on their dime.
While I’m relieved that the repair is complete, I wonder how many Cintiqs in the field have had a similar problem. Maybe I had a bad unit? Maybe it’s a one-off issue? At this point, that’s my hope.
