Review: FrameItEasy Custom Frames

Okay, shortest review ever.

I needed a custom picture frame for a recent print that I purchased from the wickedly talented Etherington Bros. The print was a custom size (16 1/2″ x 23 3/8″) and custom frame sizes usually means expensive.

That’s when I came across FrameItEasy.com. This family owned company has been making and selling custom photo frames online since 2004. And these frames are 100% American made.

The FrameItEasy website is very clean and super intuitive to use. Within minutes of measuring my print, I placed my order. The cost for my photo frame was about $40, with an extra $12 for shipping. From the time my order was placed until the frame was delivered, I was kept up to date from the company via email. Side note: I love it when a company goes the extra mile to keep me informed about my order status.

Within five days of placing my order, an expertly packed box from FrameItEasy arrived. Inside the box was the frame, cleaning cloth, nail and picture hanger. I wasn’t expecting these extra items, but they were a nice touch. I opted for the standard foamcore for the frame backing. Best of all, the frame comes ready to hang.

The craftsmanship on the FrameItEasy frame is excellent. There were no seams or weird gaps. This is a quality frame. The clear acrylic front comes with a protective plastic on both sides to protect it from scratches or abrasions during transit. The fit and finish between the frame and its components is also excellent.

Within minutes of receiving my frame, I had my new Etherington Bros. print inside and ready to hang. It looks great!
