Classic PCW 'toons disabled
Lunarpages, the company I host with, called me up this morning to notify me that one of the scripts on pcweenies.org was causing excessive CPU usage, so they have disabled it. The net result is that the entire run of classic PC Weenies cartoons are now inaccessible.
I’m aware of the problem and plan to address it by building a new WordPress / Comicpress site to house the older ‘toons. This will take some time as it will involve renumbering the 1122 archived comics to fit the Comicpress format.

I’m currently writing a simple PHP based image blogging/cartoon blogging software myself. If you want to use it, you can.
It’s a very simple script though – doesn’t use databases or admin panels. But it has a commenting system though.
I’ll finish writing it and you can have it if you want.
