Making LEGO Flexible with Flexo

flexo

A whole new way of building is about to be unleashed thanks to the enterprising efforts of a small New Zealand company. Flexo is a bendable, bouncy, flexible set of bricks. Put another way: If LEGO are the bones, Flexo are the tendons that give the bones flexibility. Flexo could allow LEGO users the ability to utilize simple bricks to create some very complex structures.

As a LEGO fan, I’m very much intrigued by the possibilities that Flexo can bring to my brick building efforts. (Incidentally, it just so happens that I’m currently in the midst of assembling a LEGO Mini Cooper.)

As of this writing, Flexo has been fully funded on Kickstarter. I’m most curious as to how LEGO will react to this development.
