A New Studio on the Cheap

It took me the better part of six hours to reorganize my studio space, and the results of that work appear in the photographs below. The new open layout makes the entire space look bigger; this was accomplished by placing all my desks around the perimeter of the wall.

In the process I was able to hide some of the visible cable clutter. A BlueLounge Cable Box and some velcro ties keep most of my cables tucked away. Gone are the two Apple IIGS units (they were placed in the closet), but if you look carefully you’ll see a still-functioning System Saver IIGS to the right of my displays.

With a neat and orderly work area in place, I feel ready to start the new year.
