The Great 24″ Monitor Hunt

I pulled the trigger and ordered the HP ZR24W 24″ display to replace my beleaguered Samsung 305T 30″ display. The new display should arrive from Amazon sometime next week.

Based on my needs and the overwhelmingly positive reviews, the HP ZR24W fits the bill. The other contender was Dell, but I opted for an IPS panel display over the TN panels found in most Dells.

Expect a full review of the HP display shortly after it arrives (complete with unboxing photos, because, yeah, I’m a nerd.)
