PCW #0004: From the vaults

pcweenies_0004

Up above is PC Weenies #0004, created on October 26, 1998. A few interesting things to note here:

  • Bob was taller
  • the piece was created digitally using a tablet and Photoshop 4.0
  • I had an obsession with the Sand font
  • I had only started drawing the character for the first time, just 5 days earlier

I’m posting this here for the benefit of artists who struggle with their own work (as I do, even to this day). Keep the faith and keep on drawing. You’ll get better. Just put in the time and practice.

    Great example, Krishna!

I would like to add that people should consider just making something, it can be comics, paintings, electronics, software, anything that requires you to think creatively. You can learn so much from doing things yourself, not only about the craft, but also what it is to be creative and make stuff. So start tinkering and enjoy the experience.

And if you set through, you might actually get good at it, like Krishna.
