Girls With Slingshots!

I’d been meaning to buy one of Danielle Corsetto’s books since last year’s New England Webcomics Weekend. When the opportunity presented itself last year, I dropped the ball completely. I didn’t have enough funds to buy her books. The money I had planned to bring to spend at the show was in my wife’s purse in Florida – I’d forgotten to take it and only had enough cash to get by during the weekend.

Danielle was incredibly cool and awesome to meet in person. Really. I so wanted to buy her books, but I was too embarrassed because of my lack-of-funds situation. So I ended up squandering the opportunity. (and kicking myself afterwards)

Needless to say, her books have always been on my radar, and earlier this week, I finally did the deed – I ordered the artist edition of her first book, “Girls with Slingshots”, Volume 1.

I’m looking forward to reading the archives and catching up with the series in book form. I also think my wife will really enjoy reading GWS. She’s not a comics person, but I’m thinking that’ll change after she reads this book.
