Megacon 2010: PC Weenies Readers!

(Apologies for the grainy photos. Disposable cameras, it would seem, do not do justice to the technicolor wonder that was Megacon.)

I’m still recovering from the experience that Megacon was. I have a few errands and such to catch up with this morning, so I’ll keep things brief until I return. I took photos, but they were from a disposable camera (remember those?). I’ll have them developed later this week this evening.

From a financial standpoint, Megacon treated me really well. “Rebootus Maximus” made it into the hands of several new readers, and I had a few folks who had stopped by last year, who came back to buy this year.

The PC Weenies / UNcubed Sampler #2 made its debut at the show, despite a delivery slip-up by Ka-Blam (more on that later).

Gotta run, but that’s the abbreviated summary for now. A microcast, with more details, will follow later this afternoon.

Great recap Krishna – are you going to Florida Supercon in Miami June 18th? I see you’re in Michigan the weekend before. Also – what indie cons are you planning on? Still would love to meet up with you here in Tampa!

Yeah, MegaCon has turned into more of an Anime-type convention, but it’s the biggest one in the area…so, you have to put up with some things. I think you should come up with more merch…it t-shirts and the like and then get out of the artist’s alley. I know it’s cheaper, but if you can get merch…the booths are the way to go. (Just a thought.) Hope to see you next year!

thanks for stopping by, Scotty! (and thx for the feedback, too!)

I’d love to carry more merch – like T-shirts. I have to find a solid vendor and secure enough pre-orders to make that happen.

Tell me what you think!
