Here’s a random mix of photos from MiniMegacon, including a couple of photos I took of customers buying PC Weenies: Rebootus Maximus. With the exception of one sale, nearly everyone who bought the book had never heard of it before. So, in other words, most of my sales were to readers who were new to the strip. :)
The photo below had me thinking “Panda Attack” from PvP.
I met a really cool cartoonist named “Banky” at the show. I bought her sketchbook, and she even through me a print. We made a new friend!
I don’t know why, but there is something oddly interesting about taking a photo of the 5th best air guitarist in the US. (No, really, that’s who he is.) Check out the mini Marshall stack.
Another few photos featuring folks who bought the book at the show.
Enjoy!

August 23, 2009 at 11:45 pmSo Krishna IS at MiniMegacon. Is he really the author of PC Weenies?
We might never know …
Do hard copies of PC Weenies exist?
We will know, soon.
I hope.

August 24, 2009 at 7:33 amOK now that your “cherry” has been popped… Congrats on the con, looks like all went well. Here’s a tip – Next mini con type of event see if you can get with the coordinator and do some badges for them and maybe you can get a table for free and keep that expense down… you know the whole barter thing. I’ve done it several years at Momo Con and AWA here in ATL, and it worked out great (and made some new friends and readers too!). Anywho good deal and keep up the great work as always. Laters
