My office layout was impacting my productivity. Yesterday afternoon I ordered a 6 foot table to give me some extra space in the studio. This afternoon it arrived. Photos of the new studio layout are below. The G5, scanner and 20″ monitor now occupy its own area, where Aarti can work on our business related ventures. Thanks to the new table, I also have more surface area with which to draw on.
I spent the afternoon rerouting and untangling various wires behind the hutch. The G5 was incredibly dusty, so I wound up taking it apart and giving it a good cleaning. I’m very happy with the setup.
Without further ado, here’s the new studio layout:

And funny enough, I use the same brand of sketchbook!

I like how that shiny monitor is on top of an old Apple computer.

March 6, 2009 at 7:12 amI’ve got the 8′ version of that dark brown folding table. It held up computers for many years. Now it sits in the garage awaiting the next yard sale.
Is that an Apple //gs under the table and holding up the monitor?

My office space is my diner table…maybe that explains these pains I’m getting in my back! ;)
