10 Years!

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of The PC Weenies!

What a long, strange trip it’s been! When PCW started in 1998, I was working as an engineer fresh out of college. Over the 10 years, I transitioned from engineering to art, fell in love and married my wife Aarti, and a few years later – celebrated the arrival of my daughter Sonia (named in part after Bob’s own baby girl).

There will be a UStream celebration at 3PM EST, with me, Aarti, Sonia, some cake and some wine. I hope you will join us in the celebration!

And speaking of celebration, what better way to commemorate 10 years than with a caption contest? Once a staple of the site, I decided to create a special single panel ‘toon to mark the event – but YOU have to provide the caption! Send your caption to me, and Aarti and I will pick the winner by Friday morning.

(If the contact form isn’t working, just post your caption in the comments below…

The contest winner will receive a signed, color print of the ‘toon and an original sketch – both commemorating 10 years of the PC Weenies! The winner will also appear as a guest-star, receiving an autographed color print of their appearance along with the original sketch to their ‘toon!

Update: Snaggy has tossed in an additional prize: The winner can pick his very own Propeller Beanie! Thank you Snaggy!

Here’s to the next 10!

stay ‘tooned, =)

Dad, you’ve still got that bunker, right? It says here that it may just be about ready to go fission…

Anyway, congrats on 10 years, Krishna! It’s an amazing achievement, and unlike some other comics that have been around for that long, yours is still fresh and funny. Kudos.

Stay funny, and we’ll keep right on reading! :D
