My dad and I had this conversation about comics in the newspaper today. He reads ’em every day. Here are some of his favorites, which I thought would be interesting to share:
…and here are the comics he doesn’t like:
An interesting list, to be sure… what are your favorites / least favorite comic strips? How do they compare against what your parents’ enjoy?

P.S. I asked him about my strip – and he says he likes a few of ’em but most of the jokes are way above his head.

June 25, 2008 at 4:53 pmHuh. Of all the ones on that list, I occaisionally read Dilbert, and I love Get Fuzzy. Foxtrot was a favorite as well. I also read PVP, Penny Arcade, PC Weenies, Girls With Slingshots, Questionable Content, and Starslip Crisis on a regular basis.

June 25, 2008 at 5:05 pmMy dad’s list is interesting in that he gravitates more towards the comics he’s been reading forever in the papers. Out of his list of favorites, Dilbert and Baby Blues are the ones I enjoy. But I also like Get Fuzzy, though I’m not a fan of Hagar the Horrible, Sally Forth, Cathy or Beetle Bailey…
