This is my first ever Father’s Day.
And I won’t be able to see my baby girl until Wednesday of this week, when I fly back to Knoxville. My dad, mom, Aarti and Sonia will all be there, and we’ll be spending ten days hanging out there, before the three of us fly back. I’m just counting down the days, and keeping my nose buried in work so that the time will go by really fast…
We’ll be celebrating Father’s Day the day I arrive in K-town. I can’t wait to see everybody.
Happy Father’s Day to all you dads. If you’re spending today with your dad, give him an extra hug to let him know how much he means to you.
Peace.

June 16, 2008 at 5:56 amI hope you at least had a pleasant day yesterday…..And we all know you will make up for it Wednesday…..Not to mention next year will be even bigger….Oh, a bit of advise….Make a very safe spot for those Father’s Day Items that will be handmade in the coming years, they are worth more than anything else.

You didnt spend June 15th with Sonia, but you are going to be a key influence in her life for many years to come…the days that count are the ones that you both make your own special father daughter memories….your little girl loves you a great deal!!
