The first week of the quarter kicked off for me this Wednesday. It was a hectic week, filled with all the usual introductory banter that first weeks in classes usually entail.
The weekend’s going to be fast and furious – more freelance illustration work has plopped into my lap, and of course – I have toons to draw for both PCW and Uncubed.
On my way home I stopped by CompUSA – they’ve been going out of business for the last three weeks. I trolled the aisles for good deals, but didn’t find anything too exciting. There was a 30″ Apple Cinema Display for $1500, new in the box, but even at that price, it was a bit out of my price range.
Are you a new reader to the PCW? If so, what do you think? Following the PCW for years? What are your thoughts? Sound off in the comments below.

January 11, 2008 at 8:47 pmI like PC Weenies. I often forward the comics to friends and use them as electronic greeting cards. Keep up the good work!
I am, though, disappointed you went from email distribution to RSS. I really don’t get to my RSS reader all that often, it’s more of an afterthought – so I catch your comics when I get into RSS.

January 11, 2008 at 8:51 pmhi Phil – thanks so much for the feedback! You’ll be pleased to know that I’m still running the Toon Mailer. Drop me a note using the Contact form on the site and I will be more than happy to add you (and anyone else who wants PCW toons in their InBox) to the list.
