A few of my single panel comics appear in today’s article Should Tech Startups Outsource Product Development? article by Vivek Wadhwa.

I wanted to share the artwork you didn’t see, namely the original version of PCW #775 (originally published online in 2005).

I redrew this comic for the article – which you can see below:

For the revamp, I brought the camera in closer to focus more on the characters, and I also tweaked the silhouettes and poses for both Milton and his Indian friend. There’s more curvature to Milton’s stance, making the pose reflect his attitude.

This comic will appear in the Winter issue of The BENT magazine, Tau Beta Pi’s long-running engineering publication. Rather than just send them the original single panel ‘toon, I went back and redrew it. This comic originally ran on the site back in 2005.

My office layout was impacting my productivity. Yesterday afternoon I ordered a 6 foot table to give me some extra space in the studio. This afternoon it arrived. Photos of the new studio layout are below. The G5, scanner and 20″ monitor now occupy its own area, where Aarti can work on our business related ventures. Thanks to the new table, I also have more surface area with which to draw on.

I spent the afternoon rerouting and untangling various wires behind the hutch. The G5 was incredibly dusty, so I wound up taking it apart and giving it a good cleaning. I’m very happy with the setup.
