It’s easy to rationalize our wants as needs. The challenge, I feel, is to see how far we can go with as little as possible.
I need a new laptop.
Unfortunately asking neither Mom nor Dad will help. :)
Heheh, I am with you on that, Greg. :)
A new laptop is a NEED. Food, water, clothing, shelter, internet access. All basic human needs
I don’t think I’ve turned my laptop on since November 2011. And then that was only to test at the Genius Bar that the new battery they installed worked ok (the old one was puffed up to the point of preventing the trackpad from working).
If I was motivated I’d install some flavor of Linux on my other laptop and go use it to learn some programming topics out in the fresh air of some NYC parks.
Which version of Linux do you prefer? There are so many flavors to choose from…
