Getting a Killer Custom Brush for Inking in Manga Studio

Manga Studio is my go-to tool for digital penciling and inking.

Due to popular request, I have taken some screenshots of the brush settings I use when inking in Manga Studio. I’ve tweaked the feel of this brush several times and I’m happy with how it works. Line variation is a big deal for me, but I also fiddled with pressure and correction. Your mileage may vary.

If you don’t want to fiddle with the settings, I’ve made my brush available as a free download for you to play with. It works in Manga Studio 5. Let me know what you think.

Now all I need is Manga Studio 5. Heh. Maybe I’ll pick it up for my mac…although I’d have to get the download as the air doesn’t have a optical drive.

Just a bro tip, manga studio 5 does not have a downloadable version. Instead they renamed it as Clip Studio Paint Pro for the digital version. It’s exactly the same. Only it has a different name.

I had a lot of trouble looking for the digital copy of “Manga studio 5” so I’m just leaving this here just in case you came across this problem too.

      Cheers!

when I ink in Manga Studio 5, I get a small line sometimes cutting across my image. Can anyone tell me how to stop that from happening?

Tell me what you think!
