15 years!

Has it really been 15 years since the first PC Weenies comic was published online?

Yes. Yes it has. And here’s a reminder for how far Bob has come since those heady days…

Bob Weiner: Through the Ages

We’re taking a brief pause from the story-in-progress to salute Bob for his 15 years of putting up with inept users, playing with the latest and greatest hardware and software, and being his typical smug rotund self.

And what better way to mark 15 years than to have Bob take another stab at the folks at Redmond?

Whether you are reading this comic for the first time or you’ve been a long time reader from “back in the day”, I want to thank you for your continued patronage. Your support of this “little comic that could” continues to amaze me. Keep sharing the ‘toon! Every bit helps!

I am *still* working on Book 2 and the official release date for it is “when it’s released.”

Expect a new PC Weenies T-shirt design before the holidays though. Something new. Something different. Something tech.

Thanks for reading – and if you really feel like it, tell me which city / country you are reading this comic from and who your favorite character is. I’d love to hear from all of you!

Grampa/Luddite fan here. And Windows 98, for all its shortcomings, had some fun screensavers to play with (the bubbling green background, the DaVinci machine flying off the screen, the old timers with the telephones). Ah, good times, but the flying toasters still take me WAY back.

Reading from Bell, Queensland, Australia and still working my way through the archives. I love the comic and can’t really pick a favourite character. I can identify with the comic as a whole, and the way it often describes exactly what is happening to me in the real world.

Tell me what you think!
