I struggled with a proper way to close this story out. But, in the end, I thought about who the story affects the most, and the resolution came about in a natural way.
Bob compartmentalizes his feelings, it’s a large part of who he is and what makes him tick. This story may be ending now, but its effects will no doubt leave an indelible mark on the characters.
