Well at least I am not to that state YET….
I do actually get out on what weekends I can to re-create the Middle Ages…I belong to the Society of Creative Anachronism……Weekends out fighting (we do armored full contact combat) with my friends, telling stories around the bonfire later in the evening, and just having friends all over the us makes a very nice weekend away from tech….I only keep my cell with me (which is not a Smartphone, just calls and text) so if my wife is somewhere else with her friends we can still say…Here I am (or if my youngest…21yrs old….has an emergency with her daughter) or for contacting the outide world if someone gets hurt at our events.
I’ve even done a week long event with out any tech…..Nice to spend a weekend or a week away from all my electronic toys.
