The PC Weenies

I’ve seen too many folks on dates at restaurants that spend the entire time texting to know that technology definitely does not bring closeness with each other. Sure it closes the gap with folks in the world, but at home I don’t feel it creates closeness at all.

When you think about how people use technology it’s a 1 to 1 usage with the equipment more times than multiple people engaging it, with the exception of some multi-player video games. I love technology and if it weren’t for technology I’d be out of a job as a Network Administrator, but I see a trend with people becoming more and more social online and less and less social with the person next to them. But that’s just my personal observations.
