Have you ever tossed old tech hardware and later regretted making that choice? If so, what was it?
I’m somewhat of a hardware pack rat, but I do regret relinquishing my first generation iPod to my sister. It was later stolen / lost during Hurricane Katrina. I’ve kept most of my other gear, just because I can’t bear to toss a perfectly working piece of kit. What about you?

I’ve got a 150 pound server and a box of SCSI drives sitting idle in my basement if you want to come get it…it’s an old HP machine. I got Gentoo running on it at one point but it made too much noise and sucked too much power (24 pounds of it is from the power supplies…3 by 8 pounds each) to keep it running.
Just waiting on getting off my butt to get a hand truck to haul it to good will now that they recycle computers. More than happy to give it away to anybody willing to haul it…
