I’ll be selling and signing copies of PC Weenies: Rebootus Maximus at the International Boba House, located at 2764 university Square Dr., Tampa, Fl, 33612.
I’ll be exhibiting along with several local Tampa artists. The show will debut on Friday, Oct 9th, from 7pm-10pm. Hope to see some of you there!

Thank you for reading the comic. If you’re a long time reader, who regularly visits – high five! Thank you for making The PC Weenies part of your web surfing routine.
Do you like Bob and company? Do you want to support his adventures? Buy your copy of the first PC Weenies Book: “Rebootus Maximus” today! This tired, hungry (and lonely) cartoonist will thank you for it. This month marks 11 years of making this comic. (October 21st marks the anniversary, to be specific.) Help me make it special!
Regular editions of “Rebootus Maximus” start at only $20 + shipping. That’s CHEAP! :) Artist Editions are $30 + shipping, and include a copy of the (now in scarce supply) PC Weenies / UNcubed Sampler #1. Both items are First Prints!
Already have the book? Awesome! Help spread the word about The PC Weenies by spreading the comic around on your favorite social network (or three!).
No money? No problem. I hear ya. Just tell a friend or link back to pcweenies.com. Bored at work? Want to win brownie points with your I.T. support person? Introduce ‘em to The PC Weenies today. He or she (and I) will thank you for it! :-)

A few rough sketches of Bob Weiner, in a variety of poses…

Update: Inked. Went for the retro print offset approach when applying the colors.
In case you’ve been holding out, Microsoft has recently announced (no joke!) a special version of Windows 7, dubbed the “Steve Ballmer” edition.
Copies are being given to Windows enthusiasts who are hosting their own Windows 7 launch parties throughout the country.
I’m not quite sure what to make of autographed editions of software. Is it collectible? Does it lose value if you open it? Does Windows 7 really need a “Steve Ballmer” edition? Or, put more succinctly, does anyone outside of the tech crowd even *know* who Steve Ballmer is?
What do you think? Sound off in the comments below!

Here’s one for you Mac geeks out there.
I have a Mac Pro connected to a Canon 4400F USB scanner. The TWAIN driver plugin I use within Photoshop does not recognize the scanner under Snow Leopard. However, the driver works fine in Leopard.
I know that the scanner is being recognized by Snow Leopard, because it’s seen by the Image Capture application. The culprit points to the TWAIN driver plug-in. Anyone know where I can find a TWAIN driver Photoshop plug-in that works under Snow Leopard?

A friend of mine lamented that I don’t draw “sexy girls” as much as I used to. So, I decided to rectify the situation with the drawing above. You can see the process work from roughs to inks.

The “Rebootus Maximus” sightings continue!
This time, we see a few photos sent by PC Weenies reader Israel Mayén Nava – who hails from Mexico! Another landmark event, as I can now proudly proclaim that the PC Weenies are truly “south of the border”. Picture below are Israel and his wife.
Thanks for the snaps, Israel!
Who’s “Rebootus Maximus” book will be profiled NEXT?
